Café Sopreso is probably the best cafe in Northern Maine area. Located in Presque Isle downtown. Ambience and music: Classic French. Very nice. Service and staff: 5/5. The waitress is a part time chef. Food: 5/5. If you're looking to eat healthy, it's hard to do so in rural areas dining places. Cafe Sopreso offers many healthy and tasty options if you're interested. Ordered a combo: tomato basil feta cheese soup and 1/2 turkey sandwich. The soup was amazing and the sandwich was superb! Although it seems they used dried basil, the soup was incredible. Imagine how it would taste with fresh basil! Overall, I think this is probably the best place to have lunch or dinner in Presque Isle, Maine. You can tell the creativity and the high quality of food the moment you taste the fresh bread and butter. Keep up the good work. #goCaféSopreso

Stellar service. I came for lunch. Soup salad and quiche. All were absolutely delicious. I think since I will be here for a while I will come back for their dinner menu.

Best in the area! Great service and amazing rotating menu! Got the best chicken marsala I've ever had. Sangria is way better than average! The best chefs in the area. Closed on Mondays but I'd literally go here every day of the week if it was open. Mashed potatoes are off the chart too. Nothing bad to say about this place. Even the prices are reasonable for the area. A must try

Cold, windy day in Presque Isle? Sad and cold? Then you need to eat at Sopresso. All your negative feelings will disappear at the bite of the mashed potatoes. This place is great. Definitely the best place in the area. I've had different scallops both times I've been here and they were perfectly cooked and delicious both times. Absolutely love the Sangria. The salad and bread are delicious. The mashed potatoes are killer and the veggies are always good. Highly recommend.

Cafe Sopresso is as good as it gets in Presque Isle - the appetizer, dinner and drink menus are all top notch. The staff is great and with the menu changing frequently there is always a reason to come back. The decor is a bit unusual and hard to figure out, but with food and drinks this good it hardly matters.

My favorite panino? The red, white, and blue. It has red onions, goat cheese, and blueberry preserves. Trust me, it is delicious and I wish they had it all year long! I always stop her for a quiet lunch when I am in town.

The food is amazing and i have never been to a restaurant where the staff is more accommodating. The prices are a little high for a restaurant in that area but well worth it.

Their lunch is phenomenal! Panini, quiche, soup, they're all equally good! My most recent trip they had a steak and cheese style quiche that was out of this world good! For $10-12 you won't find a better lunch. I haven't tried a supper meal here, but hear rave reviews regularly. Their hot drinks and desserts are also superb. The atmosphere is comfortable modern, the restaurant is very clean, and the waitstaff is excellent. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.

I've been here twice. The food is very good. Great flavors, unique twist. Service is slow and un attentive. I am here now and certain she won't be over to check and hence see what I'm doing. She was here 15 min ago. No kidding and not crazy busy, tables empty! Hmm, desert maybe?

Absolutely one of the best meals ever. I had Wild Mushroom Sacchetti with Roasted Red Peppers and Green Curry Sauce $18.00. It was one of the top three dishes I have had in my life. Every bite was a taste sensation. It also came with a side of risotto, also outstanding. This is a perfect example of what fusion cuisine can be. The homemade Tuscan bread was delicious and the salad was fresh and crisp. We finished with a homemade bread pudding which was also excellent. The bill for four people, including three glasses of wine, a prime aged steak, a veal dish, and a chicken dish, was $140.00, and worth every penny. This restaurant rivals any great restaurant anywhere.

It's been eight years since I was last in Presque Isle. I remember the food here being decent as a rule, but not inspiring. Cafe Sorpreso was a very happy surprise: the food and service were both excellent. The place is clean and feels welcoming, and the staff made us feel at home. My teammates were also delighted. The taco salad was inspired. The black tea (Moscow?) was sweetened with currant jam. The rest of the menu is appealing enough that we're certain to return before we have to head back down to Portland. This is a really good place!

Fabulous Food, wine and service. We have eaten at many 5-star resturants and did not have food as good. The steak was fabulous, rubarb strawberry pie was the best! All very fresh and a tasty treat hidden away in this small town.

Really, really good food. Amazing bread they make themselves. The salad had blueberries and little orange slices. My grilled cheese with bacon was exactly what I wanted it to be. This is by far the best place I have found to eat in Presque Isle. Check the hours first to catch them while open.

Diamond in the ruff. Best kept secret in Presque Isle. What can I had to other people reviews? We're there for lunch, great food with great prices.Nice fresh bread was a great addition. Our server was very attentive, and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.
